[RECIPE] Citrus Tuna Power Pasta (High-Protein)

  • 1 small onion (finely diced)

Fresh Elements

  • 1 small lemon (zest + juice)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 8–10 olives (sliced)

Herbs & Seasoning

  • ¼ tsp chili flakes
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Handful fresh parsley or basil (chopped)

Optional Creamy Finish

  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt or light cream
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

  • Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente.
  • Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

2️⃣ Build the Flavor Base

  • Heat olive oil in a large pan.
  • Add onion and cook 2–3 minutes until soft.
  • Add garlic and chili flakes and cook 30 seconds.

3️⃣ Add the Tuna

  • Add drained tuna and gently break it into chunks.
  • Stir for 1–2 minutes so it absorbs the flavors.

4️⃣ Add Fresh Ingredients

  • Add:
    • cherry tomatoes
    • olives
    • capers

Cook for 2–3 minutes.

5️⃣ Citrus Kick

  • Add lemon zest + lemon juice.

6️⃣ Combine

  • Add cooked pasta and toss well.
  • Stir in parsley/basil.
